Too busy to blog

January 23, 2009

I’m sorry it’s been so long since my last post. Christmas was so fun-filled and busy, and then Mom headed back to work, so Ms Kim and I have been hanging out again.

For those who don’t know, I am finally mobile. I can crawl and pull up and even scoot around on my feet (as long as there’s something there to keep me balanced).

My new friend Andrew came into the world a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve been busy visiting him also. Aunt Liz is such a good Mommy.

I also have a friend named Bailey that I haven’t met, but I stay updated through her Mommy’s website (www.ssippiscoop.blogspot.com). I haven’t seen my friend Jake since his first birthday party. Maybe we’ll see him soon because his Christmas present looks pretty tempting to open. My friend Adlee was visiting Andrew Sunday night when we were there, and boy, is she growing. She doesn’t have to use the couch to hold onto; I’m not quite sure how she does that.

Sunday Mom and I went to the Nursery at church for the first time. Mom had the audacity to rock another baby in front of me, so I put a stop to that. Mom says I’m getting too loud for church, so we’re going to go to Nursery every other Sunday. Mom keeps telling people that she’s going to have a bully on her hands, but I don’t think we can have farm animals in our neighborhood.

I’ll try to stop by more often, but being still is not my favorite thing to do these days.

Gobble Gobble!!!

November 27, 2008

Wow it has been a long time since I have posted out here. I kinda forget to blog because Mom and Dad keep me so busy. We are either going somewhere or we are playing on the floor or in the exersaucer. Anyways Mom and Dad are super excited about today because it is my first Thanksgiving. Apparently there is a lot of driving and a lot of eating. All I know is that they put this funny outfit on me that has a turkey on it and started taking my picture early this morning. Well I am rubbing my eyes so I am going to take a power nap because I will apparently need it.

Here are the pics Dad took this morning:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Homestead Hollow

October 4, 2008

Mom and I met up with Aunt Liz at Homestead Hollow, and boy, what a day! We started getting ready to go after my first bottle of the day, and we didn’t get back until a couple of hours after my second bottle. I don’t know how to tell time, but that’s a pretty long time.

We got a big orange pumpkin for the front yard as Mom and Dad prepare to celebrate my first “Halloween” (whatever that is), and Mom bought me a costume to dress up for this day. Mom also bought some cloth books for me and a pair of scarecrow overalls for the fall. Then, we went to this section where it smelled SO GOOD!! Mom teased me with this green thing that she called a pickle that had brown stuff all over it (she said it was fried). It looked GOOD, but I have to wait until I have teeth. I can’t wait til I’m big enough to eat that stuff because there was so much good looking food around me.

I love my house in Springville, but Homestead Hollow makes it hard to get back home. Check out the pictures.

6 Month Pics

Oops…my bad

September 13, 2008

Man, has time gotten away with me. I’ll be 6 months old in just two short weeks, and I have forgotten to blog for quite some time. Dad has updated his blog with the latest Jack news better than I have. For those looking for something to do, Mom and Dad have scheduled my baptism for Sunday, September 21, 2008. It will be at the 9:45 service at Springville First United Methodist Church. Mom and Dad are inviting all my fans over afterward for lunch (and Mom’s birthday too).

I have been having fun with Ms. Kim Tuesdays through Fridays, and I’ve even attended several volleyball games with Mom and Aunt Liz. I’m rolling all over the place now that I figured out how to do that, and I’m working on figuring out how to control this sound that comes out of my mouth…did you know that if you put your tongue between your lips, you can make this spitting sound? It’s pretty fun. Mom says it’s precious, but she gets mad when I do it at meal times. I don’t know why it’s funny sometimes, and sometimes it’s not???

My aunt Liz and Dewey found out that they are having a boy. That will be fun to have a close boy playmate, but Mom says I can’t go over there to play unless Aunt Liz is home. Apparently, Mr. Dewey has lots of “dangerous” fun ideas. I’m not sure what dangerous is, but it must not be good.

Well, I’ll leave you with some new pictures. I hope you enjoy.

Sooo… It’s been a while

August 29, 2008

Well hello everyone!!!! Sorry it has been so long since my last post but Mom and Dad have kept me super busy over the past few weeks. Beau, Liz, and Jake came to town and we went out to the river and Jake and I had a great time hanging out with GrandMa and Aunt Lynne while our parents went to something called a reunion. Then Mom started going back to “work” which means that I have started going to Ms. Kim’s throughout the week, so far it has been lots of fun. And the best part is that Mom and Dad took this great toy over to Ms. Kim’s house it is called a exersaucer and it is a blast, so much so that Mom and Dad went out and got me one for our house. The other big news is that I have come up with a new trick… Mom and Dad call it “rolling over” I like to think of as my Ninja Roll. Oh yeah! I almost forgot I have started eating with a spoon and having veggies, fruit, and oatmeal. Dad tried the oatmeal and made a super funny face. Below are some of the latest pics…..

Here we go…ENJOY!

My first trip to Jefferson’s

Dad’s favorite restaurant in the whole entire world is Jefferson’s. He prefers the establishment in Jacksonville, but it’s not the most kid-friendly site. To overcome this, Dad took me to the next best thing…the one in Gadsden. Would you believe that all I’ve heard since my birth is how good the wings are there, but DAD WOULD NOT LET ME EAT ONE!!! Not very fair, huh?

I’m a Percussionist!

Check me out! I got to beat on a drum! I am awesome!! Ignore Mom; she didn’t “dress up” for the occasion.

My cousin Jensen

My cousin Jensen is the coolest kid! One minute he’s Spiderman, one minute he’s Indiana Jones, one minute he’s Iron Man, and the next minute he’s Yoda. How awesome is he. Check out the pictures of him flying!!!
